The author is a Council Member of the Society For Psychical Research and in this amazing book he investigates whether space visitors exist and if they are really able to visit earth and communicate with us. Are normally reliable and respected witnesses such as policemen, teachers, and airline pilots to be believed when they recount their experiences with visitors from outer space? This work is a significant and major contribution to the study of unexplained phenomena by a highly respected psychic investigator. Cassirer believes that there are many aspects of the UFO enigma, which cannot be satisfactorily explained by current scientific theory. A fascinating read for any reader who needs clear information on UFO investigations, abductions, and other alien activity.

Crystall, Ellen: Silent Invasion (The Shocking Discoveries of a UFO Researcher). New York: Paragon House, 1991, 190pp., $6.50.
This UFO researcher reveals the truth behind ten years of alien encounters in upstate New York. The author first encountered aliens and their spacecraft in California in 1971 and made a hasty retreat back home to New Jersey, but her alien contacts continued, and over the years she has taken hundreds of photographs of her visitors, their crafts and related phenomena depicting a technology far beyond the limits of human science. She does present fascinating as well as credible explanations for such UFO mysteries as: why do UFOs congregate in certain areas? Why are the ships so hard to photograph and what is the nature of their silent propulsion? What are the underground noises that have been heard throughout the night in these woods and fields? Is the U.S. government involved? The book contains 25 photographs of aliens, spacecraft, and their energy field signatures. She even gives suggestions for how to successfully photograph UFOs and statements from other eyewitnesses. Crystall now has over 1000 photos and has made appearances on The Joan Rivers Show, Geraldo, and People are Talking.
Dennett, Preston: UFO Healings (True accounts of people healed by extraterrestrials). Mill Spring: Wild Flower Press, 1996, 186pp., $7.
UFO investigator Preston Dennett offers amazing evidence from around the world that suggests that ETs may not only be helping the people of Earth, but may also be HEALING them on a regular basis. Call this astonishing, but Dennett convincingly documents what he discovers. He investigated over a hundred cases of people whom aliens have cured ranging from the common cold to cancer. His conclusion is that perhaps we have misjudged these uncommon visitors and that there may be a delicate balance between opposing forces of dark and light quietly working with humanity.

On the cutting edge of UFO research, Dennett relates ten new close contacts with UFOs and aliens. Several of the stories present new information that is highly controversial and not commonly reported in the literature. These include healings and benevolent encounters as well as mantis-type aliens and even a military presence during an abduction.
Druffel, Ann: How To Defend Yourself Against Alien Abduction. New York: Three Rivers Press, 1998, 242pp., $6.
Druffel has researched UFOs for over 40 years. She reminds the reader through documented evidence that people have successfully fended off attack by the "greys" the short, big-eyed aliens now familiar through the media. With a database of 250 case studies, including 70 "resisters" she does have some proof positive. The writer has ascertained 9 techniques that witnesses use to ward of alien entities and even break off abductions in progress. More astonishing, this evidence points to the possible true identity of the greys and their link to the abducting entities of myth and folklore. A step-by-step guide on what to do and not to do.
Good, Timothy: Alien Contact (Top-secret UFO Files Revealed), New York: William Monroe and Company, Inc, 1993, 288pp., $6.50.
This work is done by the author of Above Top Secret. Looking over the 20 pages of appendixes gives one the idea that the author is not only professional in going to the heart of various records held by the government but one of the better researchers investigating the UFO phenomena. It is one of the better documented UFO books ever written.

An order went out for American intelligence operatives throughout the world to get all potentially relevant information about flying saucers. The order was in a memo from a certain brigadier general. The commander of the Air Material Command gave a summary of flying-saucer characteristics that might have been the first known official mention of the possibility that some UFOs might be extraterrestrial spacecraft.

Many UFO investigators take very lightly references to Eduard "Billy" Meier and his great pictures of "beamships". He produced hundreds of bright detailed photos and even recorded the sounds of "beamships" and collected several metal samples. Many Swiss and Germans swear that Meier's experiences with UFOs are real. However, many believe Billy staged his pictures and he was perpetuating a hoax. Kinder investigates and comes to the conclusion that something very important was taking place in that Swiss forest and his book is worth the trouble of reading.
Mishlove, Jeffrey: The PK Man (A True Story of Mind Over Matter). Charlottesville: Hampton Roads Publishing, 2000, 283pp, $7.50.
There was a psychic who wanted to warn the government to cancel the next space shuttle flight. The government didn't listen and a month later on January 28, 1986, the Challenger space shuttle exploded killing its seven crew members including Christa McAuliffe. The person giving the warning is the author's PK man. This is a story of Ted Owens who claims of powerful psychokinetic abilities were given to him by "Space Intelligences". Is this too bizarre and extreme for many to believe? Could he also use his powers to produce earthquakes, civil unrest, UFO sightings, strange weather events, and other powerful phenomena? Jeffrey Mishlove is a Ph. D. holder and respected enough by John E. Mack, well known writer on the UFO phenomena to write a forward for this work.

Stacy, Dennis and Patrick Huyghe: The Field Guide to UFOS (A Classification of various unidentified aerial phenomena based on eyewitness accounts). New York: HarperCollins, 2000, 180pp., $7.
This is a comprehensive look at the physical structure of UFOs. The book is devoted to identifying and categorizing the dozens of different shapes the UFO phenomenon exhibits globally. From double-ringed to triangle-shaped UFOs, from saucers to cigar-shaped craft, this book documents each variant, describes often extraordinary encounters, and even takes the extra step of offering the skeptic's explanation for some of the sightings. What can such UFO shapes tell us? The shape may be a clue to its origin. This book indicates that there is no single solutions to the UFO mystery, there are most likely many answers, and some surprises too.

Authentic, vivid, first-person testimony selected from the hundreds of thousands of letters reporting actual encounters, abductions, and visitations received and recorded by the two authors. From these letters we come closest to the truth about who They are and what They want with us.
Sutherly, Curt: UFO Mysteries, (A Reporter Seeks The Truth). St. Paul: Llewellyn Publications, 2001, 228pp., $7.
This one I just finished reading and it is a great read. Sutherly is a professional reporter respected by other rather well-known UFO investigators. He combines a journalistic style with first-person recollection to give the reader a fresh and remarkable view of the UFO phenomenon. Included are 15 rare photographs from a private collection, among them a previously unpublished UFO photo mailed anonymously to radio station KYW in Cleveland, Ohio.
Vallee, Jacques: Confrontations (A Scientist's Search For Alien Contact). New York: Ballentine Books, 1990, 264pp., $10. Hardcover
The author is one of the more respected investigators of the UFO mystery. He does have profound things to say and perhaps this book goes further in making a strong case for the reality of UFOs than most others. However, he doesn't endorse the extraterrestrial hypothesis. His ideas should be looked at by any serious student of UFOs since it was partially because of Vallee that a renewed era of truly scientific study of the subject could no longer be ignored.
